Cleaning out my closet

Okay...it is a giveawy...love the super formatting and excellent photography...leave a comment if you want it.

Okay. I am going to try and upload some before and after pictures of my redesign of my formally abysmal and dismal laundry room... And it came out above where I wanted it...Okay... that is a before and so is this one.



And so here are the afters...
I repainted a soft blue green on the walls and a warm wheat color on seiling... I am going to add a chandelier, cause, hey...I spend a lot of time in this little space.
And truly these images are quite unremarkable compared to the total transformation. I'm quite a lazy photographer and if I can't get it with the I Phone, I just don't get it. I've since added a whole wall of Bead Board crowned by a piece of salvaged trim and hung hooks and racks to hang our sundries that were formally cast about the breakfast room.

Well, now, this has been an exercise in futility. Or laziness? Not sure. Since March I have been assisting in a redecorating project for a friend of a friend and it has proven to me that I don't really enjoy being an interior decorator. But what I do love is decorating my home and taking junk and turning it into something cool and usable.

I took our home from builder beige to Tuscan Gold and Creamy Stucco and completely made over the feel of the home. It is now ours. Very restful and rich at the same time. Currently, I am contemplating some small town infill home building projects and starting a web store to sell my redesign of items that formerly had no life, or a life that was dusty and unremarkable.
